Background

What MCP is — in one sentence

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant do more than read a website — it can ask a question and get a real answer back. That's all you need to know; the rest of this page just calls it "connecting your AI assistant".

What you can do with it

Two things, both live

Sederor offers two tools to a connected AI assistant — both read-only, both working today.

Look up a routine that fits

Describe the situation — for example "morning, ADHD, 7 years old" or "kid won't go to bed" — and your AI assistant pulls up a matching routine from Sederor: the steps in the right order, plus a link to the page for more detail.

Explanation of Sederor

Your AI assistant can also just ask what Sederor is, what the plans are (Free/Premium), and where to sign up — without you having to search for it.

Here's what that looks like in practice: ask for "morning, ADHD, 7 years old" and you get back a real morning routine — get up, make the bed, brush teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast, pack the school bag, shoes & coat — plus a link to the ADHD morning-routine page for the full version. Not a mock-up — that's exactly what the endpoint returns today.
Why it's useful

No searching, straight to something usable

You're already talking to your AI assistant — about school, about bedtime, about that one morning that always goes wrong. Now you can ask it for a ready-made routine right there, instead of searching a blog, reading a page, and building your own checklist afterwards. One question, one usable answer.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to change anything in the Sederor app for this?

No. The connector is separate from your account. You set up your AI assistant to reach sederor.com/mcp — nothing else about the app changes.

Can my AI assistant access my personal family data?

No. This endpoint is read-only and has no link to any account. It only searches Sederor's public routine templates and brand information — never anyone's personal tasks, points or family data.

Does connecting cost anything?

No, connecting and trying the tools is free and doesn't require a Sederor account. You only create an account if you want to actually use the routine in the app.

Which AI assistants work with this?

Any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol over Streamable HTTP, including ChatGPT and Claude.ai, plus your own agent through a short configuration.

Can my AI assistant also create tasks or change settings?

No, right now it's read-only: looking up a routine or getting an explanation of Sederor. There is no tool that creates or changes anything.
